Multicultural education is a reform-based educational movement. The main goal is to transform educational centers so that all students coming from all cultures can experience equal educational opportunities. Culture includes language, ethnicity, race, religion and gender.  Students from diverse educational environments should be provided with appropriate education free from prejudice regardless of culture. Paying attention to cultural diversity in education and familiarizing learners with different cultures will foster a sense of respect for others and reduce prejudice resulting in less cultural tensions and a peaceful life within any cultural background. Cultural diversity in the educational process is a key factor, which takes on more importance in multicultural education due to its role in thinking, learning, academic progress, self-actualization, communication, and social interaction of learners.
